Role Overview:

The Power BI Architect - Data Engineer will join a high-performing, collaborative team to design and implement business intelligence solutions. This role includes responsibility for real-time data architectures, tabular model optimization, data security, and scalable reporting systems, primarily using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and other modern data engineering tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement BI solutions with a focus on data modeling, DAX, and report development.
• Drive end-to-end data architecture strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Work with clients to enhance data security, quality, governance, and migration processes.
• Implement real-time data ingestion from multiple sources, including IoT and cloud/on-premise systems.
• Optimize tabular models and ensure scalability, performance, and compliance.
• Manage ETL/ELT data pipelines and integration workflows using Microsoft Fabric and Data Lakes.
• Enforce DataOps principles for automation and continuous deployment.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage delivery timelines.

Requirements:

Must-Have Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing BI/data architecture solutions.
• Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and real-time data ingestion methods.
• Expertise in tabular models, DAX, and Power BI report development and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data transformation and automation.
• Strong planning and project delivery estimation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Ability to lead information/data model definitions and governance processes.
• Experience in complex technical environments and bridging functional/non-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of key technical trends in BI and the ability to translate them into client outcomes.
